Want something similar to previous work?

Most artwork sells as soon as I make it, so, consider requesting a piece that suits your taste.

For example, my small insect sculptures are very popular. I gladly take requests for species, color, and materials. The species/color/material combination must be unique -- I will never directly copy my original sculpture, since they're all meant to be one of a kind!

Want something a bit different... or VERY different?

As an artist, I love a challenge and I will take any excuse to expand my horizons! I have already created custom jewelry, large scale work, mobiles, lamps, fountains, and furniture. I've made sculpture for subzero or outdoor conditions... even for underwater display.

I am currently working on a firefly lamp and mobile using motion-sensitive electric LEDs. I also have plans to investigate methods to make insect wings flap on their own.

Making arrangements

For particularly large, bizzare, or expensive artwork, I will make arrangements with you to sign a fullblown legal contract and make a deposit. However, in most cases, I don't require a complex contract or deposit.

Instead, I usually take this approach: I make the custom artwork as described, but as I wish to make it, in keeping with my own priceniques and sense of style. When complete, you will be the first person with an opportunity to buy it. If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it, but I will not redo it.

This approach frees you from the obligation of making a deposit, and it frees me from feeling obliged to redo work.
